Karon Henderson, PhD is an educator with over 30 years of experience in the Texas Public School System. She has been a director and coordinator for Bilingual and ESL Programs, an instructional coach, an interventionist, classroom teacher, and adjunct professor at Texas State University. Karon is an independent educational consultant and teacher trainer for Imagine Learning. Her work includes coaching and professional development aimed at improving the educational outcomes for English Learners. She has presented conference sessions at the local, state, and national levels including the National Association of Bilingual Education (NABE), Texas Association of Bilingual Education (TABE), University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA), American Association for Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE), and South by Southwest Education Conference (SXSWedu).
